Korita is a village in the Trebnje municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to Saint Peter and belongs to the Dobrnič parish. It is first mentioned in written documents dating to 1526. In the early 18th century it was remodelled in the Baroque style and extensiveley repaired in 1868.[3]
